Thc Overseas Mediclaim Policy (OMP) may be issued to persons undertaking bonafide trips abroad, which will not involve any manual labour. OMP provides indemnity for expenses incurred for medical treatment for illness, diseases contracted or injury sustained during overseas travel, which is primarily in the nature of an emergency and without which the Insured is not able to leave the overseas country due to being medically incapable of travelling. OMP also provides travelers with in-flight Personal Accident and Loss of Passport benefits.

An enhanced OMP, Videsh Yatra Mitra (VYM) is offered to business and holiday travelers, providing enhanced levels of medical cover together with enhanced levels of personal accident and loss of passport, and the additional coverages of loss of checked baggage, delay of checked baggage and personal liability.
